The Oxidation and Corrosion of Zirconium and its Alloys
Theories of the mechanism of film growth and breakdown on zirconium and zircaloy‐2 are discussed in the light of recent evidence obtained at A.E.R.E. and a further explanation of the observed phenomena is offered. Additional experiments which are necessary to obtain confirmatory information are considered.
