我々は, おからを原料として炭酸カリウムを賦活剤に用いて活性炭の製造を試みた.その結果, 炭化・賦活温度800℃で比表面積2,656m2/gという大きな比表面積を有する活性炭を製造できた.そして, 賦活機構について検討したところ以下のことが明らかとなった.まず, 含浸, 乾燥過程でおからと炭酸カリウムとの反応により炭酸カリウムは超酸化カリウム, シュウ酸カリウムに変化した.そして, おからは, 改質され, 低分子化され水溶性の有機成分が増加した.その結果, 炭化・賦活温度500℃までのおからの重量減少挙動が変化して, おから単独の炭化物の細孔構造とは異なり大きな比表面積を有する炭化物となった.さらに温度が上昇し, 700℃になると…
