Joining of silicon nitride by microwave local heating

Naoki Kondo、Hideki Hyuga、Hideki Kita 等 4 位作者2010-01-01Journal of the Ceramic Society of Japan

Microwave local heating was used to join silicon nitride. Glass was placed at the joint between two silicon nitride pipes and a silicon carbide susceptor was placed around the joint. The susceptor was locally heated by absorbing the microwave radiation. On heating to 1500°C, the glass melted and filled the space betwe…

In Indonesia, shrimp industries produce solid waste in the form of the head, tail, and skin. These material can be further processed into chitosan that can be used as plastic (chitosan edible film). The chitosan film tends to be brittle. One way to increase the flexibility of plastic chitosan is by adding additional i…

The development of responsive, luminescent lifetime probes based upon axially functionalised fac-[Re(CO)3(di-imine)(L)]+ complexes

L.A. Mullice、Simon J. A. Pope2010-01-01Dalton Transactions

The syntheses of four new ditopic ligands (L1-4), based on N,N-functionalised 4-aminomethylpyridine, was achieved via a reductive amination methodology. The ligands react with fac-[Re(CO)(3)(di-imine)(MeCN)](OTf) to give the mixed-ligand species fac-[Re(CO)(3)(di-imine)(L1-4)](OTf). X-Ray crystallography has been used…
