Oxidation of polybutadiene. I. Rate of oxidation

Abstract The rate of oxidation of thin films of polybutadiene have been studied between 50 and 90°C. The films were prepared directly from latex by dipping, and thoroughly purified. All but one of the multiple ferromagnetic resonances observed by White and Solt in a sphere are shown to correspond to modes in which the oscillating part of the magnetization is independent of $r$ (the only case ordinarily considered) or varies linearly with $r$ in the sample.
