Staplabin and SMTPs, a family of triprenyl phenol metabolites of Stachybotrys microspora, enhance fibrinolysis by modulating plasminogen conformation to increase its susceptibility to activation by plasminogen activators. We found that the production of these metabolites were markedly elevated by feeding the microbial…

Poly[2,5-di(-2-thienyl)-pyrrole] [poly(SNS)] films up to 1.29 μm thick were anodically synthesized from a 5 mM monomer and 0.1 M solution at 0.50 mA cm −2 . These deposits with a large proportion of electroactive polarons compensated with dissolve upon reduction in this medium. Insoluble reduced films were synthesized…

Andrea Maldotti、Leonardo Andreotti、Alessandra Molinari 等 6 位作者2001-01-01Green Chemistry

N,N-Dimethyltetradecylamine N-oxide (DTAO) is an appropriate surfactant to form micelles able to host the iron(III) meso-tetrakis(2,6-dichlorophenyl)porphyrin [Fe(III)(TDCPP)]. The so obtained microheterogeneous catalyst can induce biomimetic redox processes on organic substrates in aqueous medium, using sunlight and…

Kazuo Shimizu、Takaaki Hirano、Tatsuki Oda2001-01-01IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications

Removal of NO/sub x/ in flue gas was investigated by using nonthermal plasma with catalysts. In this experiment, flue gas contained 5%-15% water vapor and hydrocarbons, as well as nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Catalysts tested in this paper were copper- and sodium-coated zeolite (CuZSM-5, NaZSM-5) and a conven…

55Mn nuclear magnetic resonance experiments are reported on a series of fully strained epitaxial La2 3Ca1 3MnO3 thin films on SrTiO3. We have found evidence of multiple phase segregation into ferromagnetic metallic and nonmetallic regions as well as regions that are nonferromagnetic and insulating. These insulating re…

Régiane Fortes Patella、Guillaume Challier、Jean-Luc Reboud 等 4 位作者2001-01-01OpenAlex

To evaluate the aggressiveness power of cavitating flows and to improve prediction methods for cavitation erosion, the pressure waves emitted during bubble collapses were studied and simulated by means of the Keller's and Fujikawa and Akamatsu's physical models. The profile and the energy of the pressure waves emitted…

Du‐Xing Chen、Enric Pardo、Alvaro Sanchez2001-01-01IEEE Transactions on Magnetics

The radial magnetometric demagnetizing factor N/sub mr/ of a disk is calculated from the corresponding axial factor N/sub ma/ as a function of the ratio of thickness to diameter t/d and the susceptibility of material /spl chi/ by the formula N/sub ma/(t/d, /spl chi/= /spl chi/*) +2N/sub mr/[t/d, /spl chi/=-/spl chi/*/…

Some practical concerns on isothermal electromigration tests

Jingping Huang、W.T. Kary Chien、Charles Hung-Jia Huang2001-01-01IEEE Transactions on Semiconductor Manufacturing

The isothermal electromigration (EM) test at wafer level can greatly reduce the test time from months to minutes. This plausible feature makes inline reliability monitoring a promising approach to enhance product reliability. Although most wafer-level reliability (WLR) tests are applied for process monitors and compar…

Comparison of liquid crystalline properties of dimeric compounds of different skeletal shapes

Woosung Bae、Jun-Woo Lee、Jung‐Il Jin2001-01-01Liquid Crystals

Series of dimeric compounds of different skeletal shapes consisting of two triad aromatic ester type mesogenic moieties connected via polymethylene spacers were synthesized and their liquid crystalline properties compared. The two mesogenic units are connected in either Hor T-shape or in linear fashion. In general, it…

Xiaoge Wang、Nobuyoshi Nakagawa、Kunio Katō2001-01-01Journal of The Electrochemical Society

To clarify the extension of the triple phase boundary (TPB), which directly affects the electrode polarization behavior, in the cermet layer of the Ni-zirconia anode, we studied the anodic polarization properties of four types of Ni-zirconia cermets (Ni-0YZC Ni-3YZC, and Ni-8YZC) on three types of zirconia electrolyte…

Electropolymerisable bipyridine ruthenium(II) complexes. Synthesis and electrochemical characterisation of 4-(3-methoxystyryl)- and 4,4′-di(3-methoxystyryl)-2,2′-bipyridine ruthenium complexes

Viviane Aranyos、Johan Hjelm、Anders Hagfeldt 等 4 位作者2001-01-01Journal of the Chemical Society Dalton Transactions

A number of new ruthenium polypyridyl complexes with mono- or di-(3-methoxystyryl) substituted bipyridines have been synthesized. The complexes were characterised by NMR, elemental analysis, UV-vis absorption and emission spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. Electroactive polymer films of these complexes have been pr…

Transition to 1D conduction with decreasing thickness of the crystals of TaS3 and NbSe3 quasi-1D conductors

S. V. Zaǐtsev-Zotov、V. Ya. Pokrovskiĭ、P. Monçeau2001-01-01Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Physics Letters

It is found that, with decreasing thickness of the crystals of TaS 3 and NbSe 3 quasi-1D conductors, the dependences of the conductivity of these crystals on temperature and electric field change from the form typical of bulk samples to a nearly power law behavior typical of 1D electron systems.

High frequency EPR investigations of gadolinium(III)-doped strontium aluminates

Takato Nakamura、K. Kaiya、N. Takahashi 等 8 位作者2001-01-01Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics

The high frequency EPR spectra of SrAl2O4 doped with gadolinium(III) as a probe are discussed, focusing on the sites occupied by the lanthanides. This is because the emission due to europium(II) of SrAl2O4:Eu,Ln (Ln: lanthanides) is significantly affected by such substitution. The EPR spectrum of SrAl2O4:Dy,Gd showed…
