On the flow peculiarity in network with barrier reachability

N.N. VODOLAZOV2008-06-01Advanced Engineering Research

The problem of finding maximal flow in networks with barrier reachability is considered. It is shown that existing algorithm for solution this problem can't find solution for all networks. New algorithm is suggested.

Deformation mechanism under essential work of fracture process in polycyclo-olefin materials

作者信息未提供2008-06-01eXPRESS Polymer Letters

The fracture toughness of a glassy polycyclo-olefin (PCO) was investigated by the essential work of fracture (EWF) method using a double-edge notched specimens. It was shown that the PCO follows the EWF concept in the temperature range between room temperature and glass transition temperature Tg where the ligament yie…

Synthesis and characterization of hybrid cured poly(ether-urethane)acrylate/titania microcomposites formed from tetraalkoxytitanate precursor

作者信息未提供2008-06-01eXPRESS Polymer Letters

Hybrid poly(ether-urethane)acrylate (PEUA)/titania (TiO2) microcomposites were prepared using a novel method that includes a swelling of different photo-crosslinked PEUA networks in concentrated tetraisopropoxytitanate (Ti(OiC3H7)4 or TIPT) precursor solution in organic media followed by the hydrolysis of covalently b…

Synthesis of a series of soluble main-chain chiral nonracemic poly(alkyl-aryl ketone)

作者信息未提供2008-06-01eXPRESS Polymer Letters

A series of main-chain chiral polyketones have been synthesized through condensation polymerization of a dihalide and a diketone with optically pure binaphthyl moiety as linkage in the polymer backbone. The solubility of the polymers can be easily enhanced by substituents at the alpha position next to the carbonyl gro…

Polymer systems for solid pharmaceuticals

作者信息未提供2008-06-01eXPRESS Polymer Letters

Macromolecular components of pharmaceuticals represent a segment of small quantity but high value within the polymer market. The knowledge built in these systems act as driving force for other polymer fields. Their conventional role, the coating and bonding, has been extended recently due to new challenges.

SURFACE NANO LEVEL STRUCTURAL MODIFICATION

M.H. SERGEEVA、V.A. KOHANOVSKY2008-06-01Advanced Engineering Research

Nano level technologies for wear resistance increase were considered for Different materials: cemented carbides, high speed steels and polymer composites.

BEARING ABILITY PERSISTENT GASOSTATIC. THE BEARING IN VIEW OF ROTATION

V.A. MORDVINKIN2008-06-01Advanced Engineering Research

In the presented work on the basis of Reynolds's equation the method of final elements solves a problem about distribution of pressure in lubricant film. Influence of rotation on distribution of pressure and on bearing ability of the bearing is investigated. Comparisons of key parameters with theoretical and experimen…

DISCRETE CONTROL OF FORM-BUILDING TOOL WEAR RESISTANCE

V.S. MINAKOV、D.A. CHILIKIN、D.N. MALEEV2008-06-01Advanced Engineering Research

In the given work with purpose of geometry restoration and hardening of the form-building tools without removing from the machine tool considered the opportunity of protective wear resistance coatings production using discrete ELAC technology (electro-acoustic coating).

DESIGN OF EXPERIMENTS AND ANALYSIS OF THEIR RESULTS USING EOSUPPORT SOFTWARE

V.V. VOLKOV2008-06-01Advanced Engineering Research

This article introduces a computer program EOSupport (Experimental Optimization Support) written by the author which helps to design experiments, process experimental data, calculate regression coefficients and compute statistical criterias for testing experimental results. The article also contains results of two suc…

Preparation and Electrical Properties of Cobalt−Platinum Nanoparticle Monolayers Deposited by the Langmuir−Blodgett Technique

Vesna Aleksandrovic、Denis Greshnykh、Igor Randjelovic 等 8 位作者2008-06-01ACS Nano

The Langmuir-Blodgett technique was utilized and optimized to produce closed monolayers of cobalt-platinum nanoparticles over vast areas. It is shown that sample preparation, "dipping angle", and subphase type have a strong impact on the quality of the produced films. The amount of ligands on the nanoparticle's surfac…

Growth of Crystalline Zinc Oxide Thin Films by Fine-Channel-Mist Chemical Vapor Deposition

Toshiyuki Kawaharamura、Hiroyuki Nishinaka、Shizυo Fujita2008-06-01Japanese Journal of Applied Physics

A simple, cost-effective, and safe growth technique, that is, mist chemical vapor deposition method, has been applied to the growth of single crystalline ZnO thin films on a -plane sapphire substrates. A water solution of zinc acetic acid and compressed air were used as sources, and the growth was performed at 800 °C.…

Elastic theory of low-dimensional continua and its applications in bio- and nano-structures

Z. C. Tu、Z. C. Ou-Yang2008-06-01arXiv

This review presents the elastic theory of low-dimensional (one- and two-dimensional) continua and its applications in bio- and nano-structures. First, the curve and surface theory, as the geometric representation of the low-dimensional continua, is briefly described through Cartan moving frame method. The elastic the…
