Preparing a Core-Sheath Bicomponent Fiber of Poly(butylene Terephthalate)/Poly(butylene Succinate-co-L-lactate)

Ahmed El‐Salmawy、Masatoshi Miyamoto、Yoshiharu Kimura2000-11-01Textile Research Journal

A core-sheath bicomponent fiber is melt-spun by co-extrusion of poly(butylene tereph thalate) (PBT) as the core and poly(butylene succinate-co-L-lactate) (PBSL) as the sheath. The resulting melt-drawn fiber is continuously guided to cold-drawing at 80°C. The core/sheath ratio of the melt-drawn fiber increases with inc…

New Approach for the Formation and Separation of a Thin Porous Silicon Layer

Chetan Singh Solanki、R. Bilyalov、H. Bender 等 4 位作者2000-11-01physica status solidi (a)

A new one-step method is developed for the formation and separation of a thin porous silicon film (PSF) by electrochemical etching of silicon in hydrofluoric (HF) acid based solution. This provides advantages over the existing techniques, which are requiring multiple-steps for fabrication and separation of a thin laye…

Dielectric Properties of Spinel, Garnet and Perovskite Oxides

M.I. Danilkevitch、И. И. Макоед2000-11-01physica status solidi (b)

We suggest a definition of the effective ionic charges q*i of different pairs of ions connected in tetrahedral, octahedral and dodecahedral polyhedra in such oxide crystals as spinels, garnets and perovskites. The electronic polarizability αi of cations and the O2— atomic core polarizability are calculated by 〈r2k〉 ac…

New Insights into Si Electrochemistry and Pore Growth by Transient Measurements and Impedance Spectroscopy

G. Hasse、M. Christophersen、Jürgen Carstensen 等 4 位作者2000-11-01physica status solidi (a)

Silicon electrochemistry has many applications, but still a number of unanswered questions. This paper reports on experimental results of current transient measurements and impedance spectroscopy along the I–U curve in the Si–HF system. The points of inflection of the I–U characteristics are found to be interesting, s…

Influences of methylaluminoxane separated by porous inorganic materials on the isospecific polymerization of propylene

Tsuneji Sano、Hitoshi Hagimoto、Jizhu Jin 等 6 位作者2000-11-01Macromolecular Rapid Communications

Inorganic siliceous porous materials such as MFI type zeolite, mesoporous silica MCM-41 and silica gel with different average pore diameters were applied to the adsorptive separation of methylaluminoxane (MAO) used as a cocatalyst in α-olefin polymerizations. The separated MAOs combined with rac-ethylene-(bisindenyl)z…

Jarno Salonen、M. Bjrkqvist、E Laine 等 4 位作者2000-11-01physica status solidi (a)

The effects of fabrication parameters on porous silicon morphology have been investigated using small-angle X-ray scattering and gas adsorption methods to understand the dependences of the parameters on each other. The dependence of the specific surface areas on current density was studied using three different electr…
