黒鉛炉AASでPbを定量する際に,マトリックス修飾剤としてPdを添加すると,Pbの吸光度が増大すると共に,Pbの出現温度が上昇し,灰化温度をより高い温度に設定することが可能となる.このPdの効果について,X線光電子分光法(XPS)を用いて検討した.Pbの塩酸溶液の場合,600℃でPbのほとんどがPbCl2として消失するが,これにPdを共存させると,600℃に加熱してもPbは減少しない.又,試料中のPdCl2は,加熱温度の上昇と共に還元されて金属Pdとなり,同時にPbも還元されることが分かった.このXPSの結果から,Pdを添加することによって,Pbは黒鉛炉の昇温過程でPd中に取り込まれるために,原子化段階以前のPbの消失が抑制される…
