To study possible interactions between semiconductor nanocrystals, crystalline superstructures of Cd 17 S 4 (SCH 2 CH 2 OH) 26 have been studied spectroscopically. Interactions between the particles have been detected which are discussed with simple models including electronic and dipole−dipole interactions.
