本研究では、Feast-famine法を用い、下水処理活性汚泥から異なる温度でポリヒドロキシ酪酸(PHB)蓄積微生物を集積し、集積されたPHB蓄積微生物のPHB蓄積能と種構成に及ぼす集積温度の影響について調査した。PHB蓄積微生物の集積は、酢酸を唯一の外部基質として用い、20℃あるいは28℃に制御した連続回分式リアクターにおいて行った。種汚泥及びPHB蓄積微生物集積系のPHB蓄積能を比較するため、窒素・リン制限条件下でPHB蓄積試験を実施した結果、2種類の集積系は種汚泥の約2倍の最大PHB蓄積率及びPHB収率を有することが明らかとなった。このことから、本研究で検討した温度範囲では、feast-famine法による集積によって汚泥の…
