Junying Li、Zuoliang Sha、Wenyu Zhang 等 5 位作者2016-04-20Journal of Biomaterials Science Polymer Edition

Gelatin (GE) was modified with epoxy silicone quaternary ammonium salt (EPSiQA) under alkaline conditions (pH 10-11). Silyl and quaternary ammonium groups were linked to gelatin skeleton simultaneously. It was illustrated by XRD and DSC that the short-range order of GE is destroyed and the glass transition temperature…

Solution to an ice melting cylindrical problem

Abdellatif Boureghda2016-04-20The Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Applications

We give a solution to an ice melting cylindrical problem using the ''modified variable time step method'', earlier suggested by the author. New numerical techniques are proposed for the one-dimensional melting problem. The numerical results are obtained for the position of the moving boundary, time and temperatures.

The dynamic response of a coated inclusion is considered in the context of active cloaking. The active cloak is achieved for a coated inclusion in the presence of flexural and membrane waves. In this article, we investigate the design of an active cloak for a coated inclusion in three frequency regimes: the low-freque…
