Abstract Single crystals of ASb2(SO4)2(PO4) (A = H3O+, K+, Rb+) are obtained by heating a A:Sb:P = 1:1:1 molar mixture of Sb2O3, A2CO3 (A: Li, Rb) or K2SO4, and NH4H2PO4 in 98% H2SO4 (220—250 °C, 3—5 d; cooling to 100 °C at a rate of 2 K/h).
