Support effect for nanosized Au catalysts in hydrogen production from formic acid decomposition

Au catalysts with the same particle sizes demonstrate the following order of activity in formic acid decomposition: Au/Al 2 O 3 > Au/ZrO 2 ∼ Au/CeO 2 > Au/La 2 O 3 > Au/MgO.
