Recovery of Deuterium from Argon Carrier Gas by ZrNi Modified with Electroless Pd Coating

Kan Ashida、Wataru Nishida、Jyun-ichi Nagata 等 5 位作者1999-01-01Materials Transactions JIM

The effectiveness of Pd-coating on ZrNi against impurity gas exposure was examined. X-ray diffraction profiles revealed that the surfaces of plate and grain samples are readily covered with Pd by electroless plating. Mutual diffusion between the Pd-overlayer and the ZrNi substrate and PdZr formation took place by vacu…

de Haas-van Alphen effect in CrP

Tatsuhiro Nozue、Hisao Kobayashi、Hiroshi Yamagami 等 5 位作者1999-01-01Journal of the Magnetics Society of Japan

The de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect was measured for the paramagnetic compound CrP with an orthorhombic MnP-type structure using a high quality single crystal. Ten branches of dHvA frequency below 9200T are obtained in the (010) plane at 0.6K. Four frequencies in a field along the symmetry axes agree qualitatively wi…

Curling mode in barium ferrite films with perpendicular anisotropy

A. Lisfi、J.C. Lodder1999-01-01IEEE Transactions on Magnetics

The curling mechanism has been found to be an appropriate model to describe magnetisation reversal in BaFe/sub 12/O/sub 19/ films with perpendicular anisotropy. Measurements of rotational hysteresis and the angular dependence of coercivity, remanent coercivity and hysteresis loss support this result.

Influence of phason flips on electronical properties of quasicrystalline model systems

H. Schwabe、G. Kasner、H. Böttger1999-01-01Physical review. B, Condensed matter

The influence of single phason flips on the electronic properties of quasicrystalline model systems is investigated instead of using random tiling models. In a tight binding model of the Penrose lattice there are seven different types of possible phason flips according to the involved vertex stars. Tolerating a random…

STRUCTURE BUILDING PRINCIPLES IN CRYSTALLINE ULTRAPHOSPHATES

D Ouml RTE STACHEL、A. Olbertz1999-01-01Phosphorus Research Bulletin

Crystalline ultraphosphates are a relatively new group of phosphate-rich compounds. We tried to find out a system of systematic order in crystal-chemical sense. Some selection rules as well as necessary conditions are given. In this way, we like to bring in some light into the building principles of these very interes…

Magnetoresistance of the metallic perovskite oxide

N. Gayathri、A. K. Raychaudhuri、Xueqing Xu 等 5 位作者1999-01-01Journal of Physics Condensed Matter

We report a study of the magnetoresistance (MR) of the metallic perovskite oxide LaNiO$_{3-\delta}$ as a function of the oxygen stoichiometry $\delta$ ($\delta \leq$ 0.14), magnetic field (H $\leq 6T$) and temperature (1.5K $\leq $ T $\leq $ 25K). We find a strong dependence of the nature of MR on the oxygen stoichiom…

Analysis of incoherent channelling patterns formed by X-ray emission from host lattice species and interstitial Cr in mullite

C. J. Rossouw、P. R. Miller1999-01-01Journal of Electron Microscopy

The position of Cr cations within a mullite lattice has recently been determined by analysis of contrast in two-dimensional incoherent channelling patterns (ICPs), obtained from variations in characteristic X-ray emission rate with electron beam orientation, near low index zone axis orientations. In previous work a th…

Magnetization Process in Mechanically Alloyed Fe-Ni Invar

Shengxian Wei、Kei Hayashi、F. Ono1999-01-01Journal of the Magnetics Society of Japan

By meclianically alloying and successive heat treatment, Fe-Ni Invar alloys around 35 at% Ni have been made with wide variety of concentration fluctuation. Observed magnetization curve changed significantly by annealing. The saturation magnetization decreased first, took a minimum at 500°C annealing and then increased…

3-D Finite-Difference Modeling of the Magnetic Field in Geoelectromagnetic Induction

J. T. Weaver、Ambuj Kumar Agarwal、X. H. Pu1999-01-01Society of Exploration Geophysicists eBooks

Summary A versatile finite-difference program has been developed for solving 3-D magnetotelluric problems in which the inducing field is uniform and horizontal. Finite-difference equations for the magnetic-field components are obtained by integrations over rectangular volume elements surrounding each node of the grid.…

A Consideration on AC Tree Growth at the Heat-Adhesive Interfaces of Diffrent Polymers

Toshifumi Arai、Katsutoshi Kudo1999-01-01IEEJ Transactions on Fundamentals and Materials

Composite insulation systems consist of different insulators and their systems are widely used in high voltage equipment and in power cables. These interfaces are the weak part of the composite and play a decisive role in the electrical treeing and dielectric breakdown processes of the composite. Therefore, it is impo…
