Abstract M2 [(VO)2(HPO3)2(C2O4)] (M: Li, Na, K) are prepared by hydrothermal reaction of an aqueous mixture of V2O5, H2C2O4, MOH, and H3PO3 (autoclave, 120 °C, 2 d, 80‐90% yield) followed by dehydration at 150 °C (200 °C for the Li compound) in vacuum.
