The selective hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde was investigated with Pt nanoparticles deposited on reduced graphene oxide (Pt/RGO). Compared with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) or activated carbon (AC) as support, Pt/RGO showed the best activity and selectivity for the hydrogenation of CO bond.
