Preparation of M/γ-Al 2 O 3 sorbents and their desulfurization performance in hydrocarbons

Junjie Liao、Yashan Wang、Liping Chang 等 4 位作者2015-01-01RSC Advances

Ag/γ-Al 2 O 3 sorbent can deeply remove thiophene from benzene. There exist π-complexation and S–Ag bond between thiophene and Ag/γ-Al 2 O 3 . The competitive adsorption of benzene with thiophene on sorbent is due to π-complexation.

Control of the cavity size of flexible covalent cages by silver coordination to the peripheral binding sites

Lucas Kocher、Stéphanie Durot、Valérie Heitz2015-01-01Chemical Communications

The synthesis of covalent cages consisting of two porphyrins connected by four flexible spacers each incorporating two 1,2,3-triazolyl ligands is reported. Binding of four silver(I) to the peripheral ligands induces conformational changes in solution and locks the porphyrins in a face-to-face disposition.

1-Naphthol as an ESPT fluorescent molecular probe for sensing thermotropic microenvironmental changes of pluronic F127 in aqueous media

Jitendriya Swain、Ashok Kumar Mishra2015-01-01Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics

Thermotropic microenvironmental changes and the level of hydration in different microenvironments of pluronic F127 (PF127), (PEO106 PPO70 PEO106, average molar mass 13 000) in aqueous media have been studied using 1-naphthol, which is an ESPT fluorescent molecular probe. The appearance of 1-naphthol neutral form fluor…
