高炉で,パームやし殻炭化物を微粉炭の代替として使用するために,微粉化したパームやし殻炭化物のガス化挙動を微粉炭と比較する必要がある。これらのガス化挙動を,高炉下部を模擬したレースウェイホットモデル実験装置を使用して検討した。実験の結果,微粉化したパームやし殻炭化物のガス化挙動は,微粉炭と同様に揮発分の影響を受けることがわかった。さらに,パームやし殻炭化物は灰分の含有量が微粉炭よりも少ないため,炉内のレースウェイでの圧力損失が減少した。

Metal matrix composites AMg-B[4]C-W were fabricated by spark plasma sintering (SPS) at temperatures from 440°С and 490°С. The obtained samples represent higher density close to theoretical. The role of sintering temperature and time of exposure in densification process and elastoplastic properties has been discussed.

人工干潟の造成後約2年を経た現況を整理した上で,既往の底生生物調査地点の設定手法の精度を検証した.さらに,含泥率と地盤高による干潟の区分に応じて底生生物の定量調査を実施し,出現生物種の特徴を考察した.その結果,(1)人工干潟では造成後約2年を経ても出現生物種数は増加傾向にあること,(2)確認される生物種の割合は,調査枠を干潟の区分に応じて抽出した場合が77%であったのに対し,調査枠を任意に抽出した場合が72%となり,既往の調査地点の設定手法は有効であること,(3)造成した人工干潟が多様な地盤高や底質環境を有するため,自然干潟で確認されなかった生物種が人工干潟に加入・定着したことが示された.
