高炉で,パームやし殻炭化物を微粉炭の代替として使用するために,微粉化したパームやし殻炭化物のガス化挙動を微粉炭と比較する必要がある。これらのガス化挙動を,高炉下部を模擬したレースウェイホットモデル実験装置を使用して検討した。実験の結果,微粉化したパームやし殻炭化物のガス化挙動は,微粉炭と同様に揮発分の影響を受けることがわかった。さらに,パームやし殻炭化物は灰分の含有量が微粉炭よりも少ないため,炉内のレースウェイでの圧力損失が減少した。

Metal matrix composites AMg-B[4]C-W were fabricated by spark plasma sintering (SPS) at temperatures from 440°С and 490°С. The obtained samples represent higher density close to theoretical. The role of sintering temperature and time of exposure in densification process and elastoplastic properties has been discussed.

人工干潟の造成後約2年を経た現況を整理した上で,既往の底生生物調査地点の設定手法の精度を検証した.さらに,含泥率と地盤高による干潟の区分に応じて底生生物の定量調査を実施し,出現生物種の特徴を考察した.その結果,(1)人工干潟では造成後約2年を経ても出現生物種数は増加傾向にあること,(2)確認される生物種の割合は,調査枠を干潟の区分に応じて抽出した場合が77%であったのに対し,調査枠を任意に抽出した場合が72%となり,既往の調査地点の設定手法は有効であること,(3)造成した人工干潟が多様な地盤高や底質環境を有するため,自然干潟で確認されなかった生物種が人工干潟に加入・定着したことが示された.

海上施工で安全確保や施工精度向上のために最も重要となる作業船の動揺量を,防波堤や護岸,他の浮体の影響も考慮できる複数浮体動揺解析技術を用いて,実施工を想定した動揺解析を実施して検討した. 浮体単独の動揺解析結果と比較をすると,防波堤や他の浮体の存在を考慮した場合は,作業船の動揺量にそれらからの反射波による影響が見られ,周期によっては動揺量が大きくなることから,近くに他の構造物がある場合には,他の構造物の存在を考慮した解析が必要となることが分かった.また,動揺解析結果を用いた作業中止条件の異なる工種を考慮した稼働率の算出方法を示し,現地施工計画へ反映した.
