グルコース単位が環状に繋がったホスト分子シクロデキストリン(CD)および酸化還元応答性ゲスト分子フェロセン(Fc)を側鎖に導入したポリマーや高分子ゲルを用いて,酸化還元応答性超分子材料を創製した.側鎖にCDを修飾したポリマーとFcを修飾したポリマーとの混合により超分子ヒドロゲルが形成された.ホスト–ゲスト相互作用の可逆性に起因する自己修復性を見いだし,Fcの酸化還元に伴うCDとの相互作用の変化を利用してこれをオン・オフ制御した.この超分子ネットワークに化学架橋を導入すると,酸化還元に応じたゲル内部の架橋密度の変化に伴い膨潤・収縮するゲルとなった.さらにCDおよびFcを別々のゲルに導入するとそれらが接着することを見いだし,Fcの特徴…
