タンパク質の細胞内局所での機能に注目が集まる中で,これらの解析にタンパク質を内包した刺激応答性ナノ粒子が用いられ始めている.タンパク質は,ナノ粒子に内包されることで細胞内に導入され,刺激応答を受けるまでナノ粒子内に安定に留まり,非侵襲な刺激を与えることで,細胞内で放出され機能する.そのため,刺激応答性ナノ粒子を用いることで,様々なタンパク質について細胞内で機能発現する時空間を正確に制御することができる.細胞内でタンパク質を放出する刺激として,標的部位の細胞内環境(低pH,還元状態)や光などの外部刺激が利用されている.本論文では,タンパク質内包ナノ粒子と,それを用いた細胞内タンパク質の機能解析に関しての最近の研究を紹介する.
