IrO2-Ta2O5 混合酸化物被覆チタン電極に対して,電極作製時の熱分解温度と前駆体溶液中の金属組成を変化させ,電極作製条件が触媒層構造,特に触媒層の非晶質化に与える影響について検討した。更に,触媒層構造がアノード上における主反応である酸素発生と副反応であるPbO2 電着の抑制効果に及ぼす影響について検討した。電極作製時の熱分解温度の低下,前駆体溶液中のIr 組成の低下により混合酸化物触媒層は非晶質化することが判った。また,触媒層の非晶質化により副反応であるPbO2 電着の結晶化過電圧が増加し,電解時のPbO2 電着の完全抑制を実現した。
