Pd–Ag/SiO 2 bimetallic catalysts prepared by galvanic displacement for selective hydrogenation of acetylene in excess ethylene

A series of bimetallic Pd–Ag/SiO 2 catalysts with Ag enriched on the surface were prepared by galvanic displacement. The bimetallic effect for these catalysts on acetylene hydrogenation was discussed.
