Highly chromium contaminant tolerant BaO infiltrated La 0.6 Sr 0.4 Co 0.2 Fe 0.8 O 3−δ cathodes for solid oxide fuel cells

A BaO infiltrated La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-δ (LSCF) cathode shows remarkable tolerance and resistance towards chromium via the formation of BaCrO4 instead of SrCrO4 on the electrode surface, preventing the excess Sr deficiency at the A-site of LSCF perovskite and thus mitigating the Cr poisoning effect.

We demonstrate the impact of reducing agents for Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) of WS2 from WF6 and H2S precursors. Nanocrystalline WS2 layers with a two-dimensional structure can be obtained at low deposition temperatures (300-450 °C) without using a template or anneal.
