Wataru Minami、Hee‐Joon Kim2006-01-01KAGAKU KOGAKU RONBUNSHU

FEM Computation of Magnetic Fields in Anisotropic Magnetic Materials

A. Kameari、Koji Fujiwara2006-01-01IEEJ Transactions on Power and Energy

The magnetic fields in nonlinear anisotropic magnetic materials were analyzed by using the Finite Element Method (FEM). The measured data was directly used in the computation without a complicateded smoothing. The resultant asymmetric linear equations were solved by using the ILUBiCGStab method without symmetrization…

Sector Rig Test of a Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) Combustor Liner

Venkat Vedula、Jun Shi、Shiling Liu 等 4 位作者2006-01-01Volume 2: Aircraft Engine; Ceramics; Coal, Biomass and Alternative Fuels; Controls, Diagnostics and Instrumentation; Environmental and Regulatory Affairs

Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) combustor liners, due to their high temperature capability, enable the elimination of film cooling present in current metallic liners without increasing the pressure drop in the combustor section of a gas turbine engine. The absence of film cooling and the higher temperature capability o…

Hydrogen adsorption kinetics on Pd/Ce0.8Zr0.2O2

F.C. Gennari、Claudia A. Neyertz、G. Meyer 等 5 位作者2006-01-01Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics

Hydrogen adsorption on Pd/Ce(0.8)Zr(0.2)O(2) was studied by temperature-programmed reduction, volumetric measurements and IR spectroscopy. Hydrogen uptake and reduction rate at 353 K are strongly dependent on the hydrogen pressure. At relatively high hydrogen partial pressure, reduction involves PdO, the surface and a…

Mechanical Properties and Antibacterial Efficacy of Chitosan Films

Teruo Nakashima、Masaru Matsuo、Yuezhen Bin 等 7 位作者2006-01-01Biocontrol Science

Chitin, chitosan and quaternary chitosan films were prepared, and the mechanical properties and the antibacterial activities of chitosan and quaternary chitosan films were evaluated. The tensile strength of chitin films was 30-40% lower than that of chitosan films, but the crystallinity of the former was much higher t…

INVOLVEMENT OF Na + -K + -2Cl − COTRANSPORTERS IN HYPERTONICITY-INDUCED RISE IN INTRACELLULAR CALCIUM CONCENTRATION

Toshimi Hattori、Pao‐Li Wang2006-01-01International Journal of Neuroscience

A hypertonic saline containing propylene glycol facilitates calcium (Ca(2+)) influx through voltage-dependent Ca(2+) channels. The present study performed experiments to elucidate the mechanism by which Na(+)-K(+)-2Cl(-) cotransporters participate in the rise in the intracellular calcium concentration ([Ca(2+)]i) unde…
