目的 繊維束を薄く, 幅広な状態に, 連続して開繊させるための新しい方法を確立し, 開繊機構およびその加工条件と開繊性の関係を明らかにする.成果 1) ある一定の量だけ撓ませた繊維束に垂直に一様な空気流を連続して作用させる方法により, 繊維束を連続して良好に開繊させることができた. 2) 空気流の作用により繊維束の中央部分と両側部分に圧力差が生じ, 各繊維は繊維束の幅方向へ移動する力を得て開繊が行われるものと考えられる. 3) 繊維束の撓む大きさが適当に小さいとき, 各繊維の動きがある程度規制された状態となり, 開繊時の繊維の分が均一となる. 4) 開繊加工を行う場合の加工速度は開繊幅にほとんど影響しない. 5) 無撚炭素繊維束3…
