А. В. Здравков、Yu. S. Kudryashova、G.F. Pruglo 等 4 位作者2014-08-01Russian Journal of Inorganic Chemistry

A new solvothermal method has been developed for preparing nanocrystalline titania powders by reacting titanium isopropoxide with acetic acid. The photocatalytic activity of a sample prepared at 250°C is shown to far exceed the activity of a commercially available sample.

Shock Absorber Using Hydraulic System and Shape Memory Alloys

Ke Zhang、Zhi Ping Tang2014-08-01Applied Mechanics and Materials

A new type of shock absorber was designed. The shape memory alloy (SMA) bars were used as the kernel components for energy dissipation and restoration in the stress mode of pure tension. Their initial deformation was enlarged by the hydraulic system with two pistons of different sizes. In this way, high material utili…

A rigorous description of the energy spectrum of the ammonia dimer. II. Taking into account the inversional motion

А. В. Буренин2014-08-01Optics and Spectroscopy

Using the group chain methods, a rigorous algebraic model for describing the energy spectrum of the ammonia dimer (NH 3 ) 2 is constructed with an allowance for both the most important torsional and exchange nonrigid motions and the inversional nonrigid motion also taken into account. The model is rigorous in the sens…

Thermal conductivity in the ferromagnetic metallic phase of monovalent Ag doped manganites

Dinesh Varshney、E. Khan、Dinesh Choudhary2014-08-01International Journal of Computational Materials Science and Engineering

The thermal conductivity (κ) behavior in La 0.75 Ag 0.25 MnO 3 manganites is investigated by probing the phonon, carrier and magnon scattering sources. The acoustic phonon contribution to the thermal conductivity (κph) is investigated within the Debye-type relaxation rate approximation. The scattering of phonon from d…

Research on Alarming Device for Warp Stop Motions of Computer Sewing Machines

Dong Ik Sun、Jun Ni、Jia Shan Wang 等 4 位作者2014-08-01Applied Mechanics and Materials

Owing to spandex silks are very thin and transparent, it is very hard to spot the broken warp without alarm during sewing or weaving. Therefore, the key to solve the problem is to shutdown and alarm timely when warps break. The ways and principles of common warp stop are analyzed in this paper, a new type of warp stop…

The Mineralization of Calcium Carbonate in Mixed Solvent Controlled by Polystyrene-b-poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)

Jia Wang、Yu Min Xia、Yanping Wang 等 4 位作者2014-08-01Advanced materials research

Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) was mineralized in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF)-H2O mixed solvents in the presence of polystyrene-b-poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) (PS-b-PNVP) block copolymer. The morphologies of PS-b-PNVP micelles and CaCO3crystals were characterized by TEM and SEM. By varying the volume ratio of DMF-H2O, the CaCO…

In this paper, the mechanism of the combustion instability which may occur in a hybrid rocket motor with a diaphragm was studied. And the new design for a hybrid motor grain was suggested. It could increase a regression rate of solid fuel, and reduce a large pressure oscillation in a hybrid rocket motor with a diaphra…

Measurement of nonlinear dielectric constants of Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 thin films for ferroelectric probe data storage technology

Yoshiomi Hiranaga、Yasuo Cho2014-08-01OpenAlex

Ferroelectric single crystals have excellent characteristics for ferroelectric probe data storage. However, it is difficult to make practically-available single-crystal media with a large area, and development of thin-film recording media is required. In this study Pb(Zr, Ti)O3(PZT) thin films are prepared and evaluat…
