Imaging performance of metamaterial wire media at Terahertz frequencies: A simple local approach

Alessandro Tuniz、Damian Ireland、Alexander Argyros 等 6 位作者2014-07-06Australian Conference on Optical Fibre Technology

Metamaterial wire media support sub-diffraction imaging, however images deteriorate near Fabry-Perot slab resonances. Using simple, local models, we show that image aberrations originate from cavity resonances in anisotropic media with large absolute axial permittivity.
