Kevin J. Rietwyk、Y. Smets、Muhammad Y. Bashouti 等 10 位作者2014-04-18Physical Review Letters

We demonstrate a novel doping mechanism of silicon, namely n-type transfer doping by adsorbed organic cobaltocene (CoCp2*) molecules. The amount of transferred charge as a function of coverage is monitored by following the ensuing band bending via surface sensitive core-level photoelectron spectroscopy. The concomitan…

We present measurements of the magnetic entropy landscape and Gr\"uneisen parameter of the ${\mathrm{Cu}}^{2+}$ complex $({\mathrm{C}}_{5}{\mathrm{H}}_{12}\mathrm{N}{)}_{2}\mathrm{Cu}{\mathrm{Cl}}_{4}$ in a magnetic field. Our thermodynamic measurements are in very good agreement with a theoretical description by a $S…

Péter Kiss、András Baranyai2014-04-18The Journal of Chemical Physics

Recently, we proposed a new model for water [P. T. Kiss and A. Baranyai, J. Chem. Phys. 138, 204507 (2013)]. We presented a detailed description of the development of this classical, polarizable model, and a large number of calculated properties. The model provided excellent estimates for ambient liquid properties and…

Efficient Hydrodeoxygenation of Ketones, Phenols, and Ethers Promoted by Platinum–Heteropolyacid Bifunctional Catalysts

Shintaro Itagaki、Naoki Matsuhashi、Kento Taniguchi 等 5 位作者2014-04-18Chemistry Letters

Abstract A Cs2.5H0.5PW12O40-supported platinum catalyst (Pt/CsPW) could act as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for hydrodeoxygenation of various types of oxygen-containing compounds such as ketones, phenols, and ethers. The observed catalysis was truly heterogeneous, and the retrieved Pt/CsPW could be reused.

Arfakhshand Ali Qazalbash、Suleiman M. Sharkh、Neamat Taghizadeh Irenji 等 5 位作者2014-04-18IEEE Transactions on Magnetics

Three analytical methods, and finite-element analysis (FEA), are used to calculate no-load flux harmonics traveling with respect to the rotor of a surface permanent magnet machine. Rotor eddy-current losses caused by each harmonic are calculated analytically using a multilayer eddy-current model of the machine, in whi…

Effect of UV-Ozone Treatment on the Performance of ZnO TFTs Fabricated by RF Sputtering Deposition Technique

Jia‐Ling Wu、Han-Yu Lin、Po-Hung Kuo 等 9 位作者2014-04-18IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices

In this paper, bottom-gate thin-film transistors (TFTs) with zinc oxide (ZnO) channels were grown on Si substrates with an SiO2dielectric layer via the radio-frequency sputtering technique. The ZnO films were then subjected to 16 min of ultraviolet (UV)-ozone treatment, which resulted in fewer oxygen vacancies, enhanc…

All-optical helicity dependent magnetic switching in Tb-Fe thin films with a MHz laser oscillator

Alexander Hassdenteufel、Christian Schubert、Birgit Hebler 等 7 位作者2014-04-18Optics Express

We demonstrate all-optical magnetic switching (AOS) in an amorphous Tb30Fe70 thin film, triggered by a 5.1 MHz laser oscillator. The magnetic layer is grown on SiO2/Si substrate. An identical magnetic film deposited on a microscope glass slide reveals no AOS but solely thermally induced demagnetization. This effect is…

Position Signal Faults Diagnosis and Control for Switched Reluctance Motor

Jun Cai、Zhiquan Deng、Rongguang Hu2014-04-18IEEE Transactions on Magnetics

An accurate rotor position signal is quite necessary for high-performance control of switched reluctance motor (SRM). In general, the position signal faults may lead to abnormal operation, which deteriorates the reliability of the switched reluctance drive system. Thus, it is quite vital but still a challenge to devel…
