Abstract The title long lasting phosphorescence phosphor is prepared by solid state reaction of ZrO2, La2O3, TiO2 (0.1, 0.5, 1 mol%), and Sm2O3 (0.1, 0.5, 1, 1.5 mol%) in a H3BO3 flux (air, alumina crucible, 1673 K, 10 h).
