Reduced graphene oxide decorated with CuO–ZnO hetero-junctions: towards high selective gas-sensing property to acetone

The CuO–ZnO/rGO ternary composite is successfully prepared, in which valid p–n junctions exist between CuO and ZnO nanoparticles with the aid of rGO sheets. The presence of p–n junctions enables such a composite to possess outstanding sensing properties to acetone.
