G. Vaughan、Asiloé J. Mora、Andrew N. Fitch 等 5 位作者1999-01-01Journal of the Chemical Society Dalton Transactions

The crystal and molecular structures of three reaction products formed between dimethyl sulfide and bromine have been characterised by high resolution powder synchrotron X-ray diffraction. Depending on the method of preparation, three compounds have been identified as (CH3)2SBr2, (CH3)2SBr2.5 and (CH3)2SBr4. The first…

It is known that an ultra-fine grain size can be achieved by a special intense plastic straining processes. In this paper, the authors propose a novel intense plastic straining process named the Accumulative Roll-Bonding(ARB) for bulk materials. In the process, a strip is put on another strip neatly, at first. The two…

Platinum distribution in malignant glioma following intraoperative intravenous infusion of carboplatin

Ian R. Whittle、George P. Malcolm、Duncan I. Jodrell 等 4 位作者1999-01-01British Journal of Neurosurgery

The objective of this paper was to determine the time course and extent of platinum uptake into human malignant glioma tissue. An intraoperative, intravenous infusion of carboplatin was given to nine patients (seven glioblastoma and two anaplastic glioma) undergoing tumour excision. Carboplatin dosage was calculated i…

Synthesis, optical and magnetic properties of homo- and heteronuclear systems and glasses containing them

J. Legendziewicz、Barbara Keller、Ilona Turowska‐Tyrk 等 4 位作者1999-01-01New Journal of Chemistry

To study the effect of ion pairs (f and d–f) coupled in a polymeric system on their optical and magnetic properties, syntheses of homo- and heteronuclear systems were undertaken. Single crystals of the polynuclear Nd glutarate of formula [Nd(Glut)(H2O)4]Cl·2H2O (1) were obtained. The X-ray diffraction analysis shows t…

Numerical calculation of electromigration under pulse current with Joule heating

Zhihong Li、Guoying Wu、Yangyuan Wang 等 5 位作者1999-01-01IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices

Electromigration behavior under pulsed directional current (PDC) was investigated theoretically and experimentally. A vacancy diffusion equation under current stress was derived, and the relationship between vacancy concentration and time to failure was calculated numerically. The results show that if Joule heating is…

Substitutional Ti(1-x)RuxO2 surface alloys obtained from the decomposition of Ru3(CO)12 on TiO2(110)

Gian Andrea Rizzi、A Magrin、Gaetano Granozzi1999-01-01Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics

The partial decomposition of the organometallic compound Ru3(CO)12 on a TiO2(110) surface is observed at room temperature. Thermal treatment of the surface at 400°C leads to the formation of a surface alloy of formula Ti(1-x)RuxO2 that is characterized by means of XPS, XPD and LEED measurements.

Measuring and Fuzzy Predicting Total Handle from Selected Mechanical Properties of Double Weft-Knitted Fabrics

Shin-Woong Park、Young‐Gu Hwang1999-01-01Textile Research Journal

The mechanical and handle properties of three groups of double weft-knitted fabrics are measured using the KES-FB system. The double-jersey fabrics consist of double weft-knitted structures (knit, tuck, and welt stitches), and are further divided according to density and then fully relaxed. For hand measurements, seve…

Synthesis and characterization of MgO-B2O3 mixed oxides prepared by coprecipitation; selective dehydrogenation of propan-2-ol

Maite Aramendía、V. Boráu、C. Jiménez 等 6 位作者1999-01-01Journal of Materials Chemistry

The synthesis of MgO-B 2 O 3 mixed oxides by coprecipitation from Mg(OH) 2 and B(OH) 3 (0-10 wt%) led to solids with textural and acid-base properties rather different from pure magnesium oxide. DRIFT and 11 B MAS NMR studies showed that boron atoms are in a flat trigonal environment, as part of the magnesium oxide st…

Poly(dimethylsiloxane) crosslinked in different conditions Part I. Sorption properties in water–ethyl acetate mixtures

Quang Trong Nguyen、Zebida Bendjama、Robert Cle ́ment 等 4 位作者1999-01-01Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics

Poly(dimethylsiloxane)s (PDMS) of different crosslinking degrees were synthesized by varying the ratio of B(crosslinker)/A(vinyl-type PDMS) in the mixture to be crosslinked, and by varying the crosslinking temperature. The swelling degrees of the polymer in pure water, pure ester (ethyl acetate) and their mixture decr…

Ren‐Hua Jin、Kou-ichi Motoyoshi1999-01-01Journal of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines

Porphyrin-centered star-shaped polymers were synthesized through living cationic ring-opening polymerization of 2-methyl-2-oxazoline employing tetra(p-chloromethylphenyl)porphyrin (CMPP) and its zinc complex as initiators. The polymers were characterized by GPC, 1 H NMR and UV-vis and their properties were examined by…
