Francis Canon、Aleksandar R. Milosavljević、Guillaume van der Rest 等 8 位作者2013-07-19Angewandte Chemie International Edition

Weight of evidence: Using synchrotron radiation, photo-fragmentation of an intrinsically disordered protein is probed and compared with classical tandem mass-spectrometry activation techniques. It provides excellent sequence coverage allowing the identification of the protein noncovalent binding sites.

Origin of Selective Guest-Induced Magnetism Transition in Fe/MOF-74

Joonho Park、Heejin Kim、Yousung Jung2013-07-19The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters

The experimentally observed selective guest-induced (olefin-induced) magnetism transition from ferromagnetism (FM) to antiferromagnetism (AFM) on Fe/MOF-74 is investigated using the first principles calculations. We reveal that FM in bare MOF is due to direct exchange interaction between neighboring Fe ions while the…

Synthesis of Azahelicene N‐Oxide by Palladium‐Catalyzed Direct CH Annulation of a Pendant (Z)‐Bromovinyl Side Chain

Eri Kaneko、Yuki Matsumoto、Ken Kamikawa2013-07-19Chemistry - A European Journal

Driving benzene round the twist: Azahelicene derivatives were synthesized in high yields by utilizing palladium-catalyzed C-H annulation reactions. Functionalization at the C5 position in 6-azahelicene by using palladium-catalyzed C-H arylation also gave coupling products in good yields. A tandem intra- and intermolec…

Formation of Complex Interface and Stability of Oil-in-Water (O/W) Emulsion Prepared by Soy Lipophilic Protein Nanoparticles

Zhiming Gao、Jinmei Wang、Na‐Na Wu 等 7 位作者2013-07-19Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry

A lipophilic protein nanoparticle (LPP) was fabricated by ultrasonication of the soy lipophilic protein (LP), which contains hydrophobic proteins and phospholipids. This LPP (Rh = 136 ± 0.8 nm, ζ-potential = -20 mV, pH 7.0) had an improved dispersibility and acted as an emulsifier. The oil/water (O/W) emulsion stabili…

Improving the End-to-End Efficiency of DC–DC Converters Based on a Supercapacitor-Assisted Low-Dropout Regulator Technique

Kosala Kankanamge、Nihal Kularatna2013-07-19IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics

Approximate efficiency of a linear regulator, if the power consumed by the control circuits is negligible, can be expressed by the ratio of Vo/Vin. A very low frequency supercapacitor circulation technique can be combined with commercial low-dropout (LDO) regulator integrated circuits to achieve significantly high end…
