Study on fracture toughness evaluation for structural ceramics.
本論文は,構造セラミックスの破壊じん性評価に関するものである.まず,窒化けい素を対象としてSEN法,コントロールド・フロー法,ビッカース・インデンテーション法により破壊じん性試験を行い,各方法の得失を論じた,次に,ピッカース・インデンテーションの解析を有限要素法により行い,その結果よりピッカース・インデンテーション法における一般的な破壊じん性評価式を導出した.
Structural Change of C-Rare Earth Sesquioxides Yb<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> and Er<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> as a Function of Temperature
欠陥型ホタル石構造を基本としたC型希土類酸化物のYb2O3とEr2O3の単結晶をアークイメージフローティングゾーン法により作製し, 四軸型単結晶X線回折計を用い, 室温から1260Kまで6点の温度での高温構造の解析を行った. 最終のR因子はYb2O3で0.034から0.050, Er2O3で0.036から0.051であった. 単位胞の平均線熱膨張係数はYb2O3で8.27×10-6K-1 (室温から850K) 及び10.31×10-6K-1 (850Kから1250K), Er2O3で7.47×10-6K-1 (室温から770K) 及び10.74×10-6K-1 (770Kから1250K) である. 欠陥型ホタル石構造における酸素の…
