Effect of Acrylic Acid Contents and Inorganic Fillers on Physical Properties of Acrylic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape by UV Curing

Dong-Bok Kim2013-03-25Polymer(Korea)

We report a study on the heat transport of an S = 1 Haldane chain compound Ni(C3H10N2)2NO2ClO4 at low temperatures and in magnetic fields. The zero-field thermal conductivities show a remarkable anisotropy for the heat current along the spin-chain direction (κb) and the vertical direction (κc), implying a magnetic con…

Tsai-Yu Huang、Chi‐Te Liang、Yang‐Fang Chen 等 6 位作者2013-03-25Nanoscale Research Letters

We have performed magnetotransport measurements on gated GaAs two-dimensional electron gases in which electrons are confined in a layer of the nanoscale. From the slopes of a pair of spin-split Landau levels (LLs) in the energy-magnetic field plane, we can perform direct measurements of the spin gap for different LLs.…

Syntheses and Properties of Novel Copolymers of Polylactide and Aliphatic Polycarbonate Based on Ketal-Protected Dihydroxyacetone

Liansheng Wang、Si‐Xue Cheng、Ren‐Xi Zhuo2013-03-25Polymer-Plastics Technology and Engineering

The novel random copolymers of L-LA and 2, 2-ethylenedioxy-1, 3-propanediol carbonate (EOPDC) were synthesized in bulk using Sn(Oct)2 as a catalyst. The poly(EOPDC -co- L-LA)s obtained were characterized by FT IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, GPC and DSC. The copolymers were obtained with yield of 87.9–95.6%. The number average m…

Optical phonon modes in InGaN/GaN dot-in-a-wire heterostructures grown by molecular beam epitaxy

Jitto Titus、Hieu Pham Trung Nguyen、Zetian Mi 等 4 位作者2013-03-25Applied Physics Letters

We report on the studies of optical phonon modes in nearly defect-free GaN nanowires embedded with intrinsic InGaN quantum dots by using oblique angle transmission infrared spectroscopy. These phonon modes are dependent on the nanowire fill-factor, doping densities of the nanowires, and the presence of InGaN dots. The…

Kinetics for dislocation structure formation in contact area of squeezed crystalline solids

Yu. I. Boyko2013-03-25Functional materials

Evolution of dislocation structure during formation of the contact area was studied in modeling experiments "wedge-plane" for KCl single crystal under loading at room and high (0.8Tm) temperatures. It was shown that at the first (rapid) stage of the process, a quasi-stationary dislocation assemblage is formed due to e…
