Melt synthesis of oxide red phosphors La 2 WO 6 : Eu 3 +

Tadashi Ishigaki、Nobuhiro Matsushita、Masahiro Yoshimura 等 6 位作者2009-08-01Physics Procedia

To synthesize various complex oxide materials and their solid solutions, we have applied a novel “meltsynthesis technique” rather than conventional solid-state reaction techniques. The synthesis of well-crystalline multi-component phosphor materials is sometimes difficult using conventional solid-state reaction techni…

Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy in nano-(bio)-physics

Friedrich Kremer、Anatoli Serghei、Joshua Sangoro 等 5 位作者2009-08-01OpenAlex

Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy as one of the major tools in molecular physics benefits from the extraordinary advantage that its sensitivity increases with decreasing thickness of a sample capacitor and hence with a decreasing amount of sample material. This enables one for instance to carry out broadband spectrosc…

Statistical model of thermal degradation of linear polymers

А. А. Коптелов、И. А. Коптелов2009-08-01Polymer Science Series B

Thermal degradation of a high-molecular-mass linear polymer is revisited for PE in terms of the theory of random ruptures. The polymer → gaseous products process is shown to proceed as a continuous sequence of chemical reactions accompanied by the occurrence of such physical phenomenon as evaporation of the formed fra…

A new synthesis of μ-oxo dimeric iron(III) porphyrins from meso-tetraarylporphyrins in one-pot procedure is reported. μ-oxo dimeric iron(III) porphyrin was obtained in high yield (up to 93%) from the reaction of meso-tetraarylporphyrin with ferrous chloride in DMF at pH 8–11. Compared with other synthetic methods of μ…

Hugoniot measurements have been performed on high-purity cubic boron nitride polycrystals in the pressure range up to 296GPa using a two-stage light-gas gun. Hugoniot parameters have been measured by a line reflection method and Fabry–Pérot velocimetry. The Hugoniot elastic limit (HEL) is determined to be 44.3GPa, whi…

Structure stability and electronic properties of the Zr-He system: First-principles calculations

Yu. M. Koroteev、О. В. Лопатина、И. П. Чернов2009-08-01Physics of the Solid State

Ab initio studies are carried out for the atomic and electronic structures of the Zr-He system. It is revealed that zirconium undergoes a phase transition induced by helium. The most preferred position of the impurity in the metal lattice is determined. The energy of dissolution of helium and the excess volume introdu…

Warm-up strategy for a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst

Olivier Lepreux、Y. Creff、Nicolas Petit2009-08-01OpenAlex

This paper proposes a warm-up strategy for a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) which is grounded on a simple distributed parameter model. This first principles model of the propagation of the temperature variations accounts for spatially distributed heat generation (due to chemical reactions). We show that heat generati…

4-(1-Benzotriazolyl)-5-[1(2)-naphthyloxy]phthalodinitriles were obtained by nucleophilic substitution of bromine and nitro group in 4-bromo-5-nitrophthalodinitrile. These compounds were used for the synthesis of the corresponding octa-substituted phthalocyanines. Spectral data of the compounds obtained were examined.

Carbon Nanotube Growth on Catalyst

Mohammadreza Saeidi、Majid Vaezzadeh2009-08-01Current Nanoscience

Carbon nanotube (CNT) growth on catalyst as a function of time, temperature, diameter of the CNT, damping factor of the system, and the type of catalyst is investigated via a theoretical analysis on the phonon vibration of the system. Simulations demonstrate that CNTs with larger diameter grow lesser owing to higher d…

Minh Nguyen Ngoc、А. Denat、Nelly Bonifaci 等 6 位作者2009-08-01OpenAlex

Trifluoroiodomethane CF3I has been recently considered as a potential alternative to SF6, thanks to its high electronegativity and extremely low environmental effect. However, due to its high boiling point, CF3I should be mixed with other gases such as N2or CO2in order to avoid the liquefaction at low temperature. In…
