A homogeneously aligned liquid crystal layer on a substrate film on which it is not necessary to form an alignment film can be fabricated by using a slit coater. The electro-optical performance of TN-LCDs was demonstrated. The surface azimuthal anchoring energy and the mechanism on the surface alignment are discussed.

福島第一原子力発電所の事故により環境中に放出されたセシウム等の除去,回収,および固定化に向けた材料が必要とされている。著者らの研究グループでは,トバモライトが主成分である軽量気泡コンクリートを基材としたセシウム吸着・固定化材料を開発してきた。トバモライトを水酸化ナトリウムで処理することで,高いセシウム除去性能が発現する。ここでは,この試料の粉末とバルク体でのセシウム・ストロンチウム除去性能,およびそれらを用いた海水中からのセシウム・ストロンチウムの除去性能について解説する。

従量制有料指定袋を導入している福岡市南区A町の戸別収集地点の利用世帯を対象に,夏季における搬出ごみ袋の容量・搬出数の調査とばねばかりによる重量の実測調査をもとに,ごみ袋密度と世帯あたりごみ搬出量の解析を行い,春季の調査結果との比較により,ごみ搬出行動の季節による違いを明らかにした.その結果,1.2(kg/世帯・日)程度のごみ搬出量の世帯に限り,夏季において生ごみ等の腐敗による悪臭の発生を恐れ,30L入りごみ袋などのより容量の小さいごみ袋を使用し,搬出日によっては2袋以上搬出する世帯が確認された.ごみ袋密度の解析結果から,30L入りごみ袋では容量を十分に使い切れずに少なめの詰め込み具合で搬出されたものが多く,一部の住民に対し不公平感…

采用浆料浸渗法将ZrB2颗粒引入碳/酚醛复合材料,利用氧-乙炔烧蚀试验测试不同ZrB2含量的碳/酚醛复合材料的烧蚀及隔热性能。实验表明,碳/酚醛树脂基复合材料的线烧蚀率随ZrB2含量的增加而减小,在9%时达到最小值0.0052 mm/s。若继续增加ZrB2的含量,其线烧蚀率反而增加。ZrB2含量为9%时,碳/酚醛树脂基复合材料的隔热性能最优。将ZrB2引入碳/酚醛树脂基复合材料可以改善其烧蚀隔热性能,为碳/酚醛树脂基复合材料的结构及材料组分优化设计提供了重要参考。
