Poly(indenofluorene) was electrochemically deposited onto anode surfaces in CH2Cl2 medium along indenofluorene oxidation. The resulting films were characterized and compared with polyfluorenes. A mechanism of polymerization is proposed in the light of cyclic voltammetry experiments and theoretical calculations.
