Organic Photovoltaic Cells Based on PbPc Nanocolumns Prepared by Glancing Angle Deposition

Yang Liu、Fujun Zhang、Jian Wang2013-01-01International Journal of Photoenergy

Organic small material lead phthalocyanine (PbPc) nanocolumns were prepared via glancing angle deposition (GLAD) on indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass substrates. Organic electron acceptor materials fullerene (C60) was evaporated onto the nanocolumn PbPc thin films to prepare heterojunction structure ITO/PbPc/C60/Bph…

Assessment of Design Safety Limits for Fuel Cladding Based on Benchmark Tests

R. Sarkar、R. Suresh Kumar、N. Raghu 等 5 位作者2013-01-01Procedia Engineering

The PFBR core, which is highly enriched, is very compact due to neutronic considerations. The gap provided for coolant flow is so less that deformation of the clad will disturb the coolable geometry, which may lead to severe damage to the core. If adjacent pins balloon at the same axial level (coherent ballooning) the…

EFFECT OF MOISTURE CONTENT AND PONDING CONDITION ON PENETRATION AND LEACHING OF CESIUM IN MORTAR

Masashi Itoh、Kenichiro Nakarai、Akihiko Hayashi 等 4 位作者2013-01-01Cement Science and Concrete Technology

Modification of induced spin-orbit splitting of the π states of graphene during the joint intercalation of Bi and noble metals

Evgeniy V. Zhizhin、A. A. Popova、D. Marchenko 等 7 位作者2013-01-01Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences Physics

The effect of intercalation of Bi atoms and the joint intercalation of atoms of Bi and noble metals (Au, Cu) on the spin and electron structure of graphene formed on Ni(111) is investigated by angle and spin-resolved PES. It is shown that the spin-orbit splitting of π states of graphene of 20–30 meV is observed for th…

Estimation of the Depressurization Process of Fukushima Daiichi NPP Unit 1

Maolong Liu、Yuki Ishiwatari、Koji Okamoto2013-01-01JAPANESE JOURNAL OF MULTIPHASE FLOW

TEPCO announced that the safety relief valves of the Fukushima Daiichi NPP Unit 1 were never manually opened during the accident due to the shortage of DC power. However, the measured reactor pressure was about 1MPa at 2:43 of March 12. At that moment the core damage must already start due to almost no core injection…

Effects of Temperature and Carbon Nanocapsules (CNCs) on the Production of Poly(D,L-lactic acid) (PLA) Nonwoven Nanofibre Mat

Huan‐Sheng Chien、Chi Wang2013-01-01Fibres and Textiles in Eastern Europe

Solution viscosity can be regarded as the most important factor in determining the morphology of the product obtained in electrospinning. Viscosity can be adjusted for a given solution by tuning the solution temperature or by adding fillers to the solution prepared. The electrospinning of PLA solution was performed at…

Ultrasonic transducers with directional converters of vibration of longitudinal-longitudinal (L-L) type and longitudinal-longitudinal-longitudinal (L-L-L) type intended to work in gaseous media

Tadeusz Gudra、Lukasz P. Palasz、Krzysztof J. Opieliński2013-01-01Proceedings of meetings on acoustics

The study presents a realised concept of an ultrasonic transducer intended to work in a gaseous medium, that radiates a focused ultrasonic beam in many directions simultaneously. The use of a L-L type vibration direction converter makes it possible to radiate ultrasonic energy in a required direction without changing…
