Chalcogenide glasses are promising materials for optoelectronic device applications. Heat capacity of such materials is the essential physical parameter to estimate the energy/data storage capacity. In the present work, the effect of Tl incorporation on heat capacities ΔCpg, ΔCpc and ΔCpm of In10Se90-xTl x (7≤x≤15) an…

Aqueous phase synthesis of CdTe quantum dots (QDs) with surface functionalization for bioconjugation remains the best approach for biosensing and bioimaging applications. We present a facile aqueous phase method to prepare CdTe QDs by adjusting precursor and ligand concentrations. CdTe QDs had photoluminescence quantu…

A new theory is developed for the magnetoelectric (ME) coupling in a symmetric 2-2 ME laminate having a representative piezoelectric crystal (PMN-PT) particularly with anisotropic piezoelectric properties. Considering the average field method, the theoretical expressions for the transverse ME voltage coefficients at l…

In the present work at the first time the hydrogen interaction with Ce6Ni1.67Si3 at pressure up to 45 atm and temperature 51˚C has been investigated by means of the calorimetric method. The ΔHabs. – C dependence (ΔHabs. –the partial molar enthalpy of the reaction of the hydrogen interaction with IMC, C – hydrogen conc…

Kondo effect originates from antiferromagnetic (AFM) s-d coupling between magnetic impurity and the conduction electron, while it will be totally quenched in ferromagnetic (FM) regime due to malfunction of spin-flip. We investigate the possibility of switching on/off Kondo effect by transition of AFM/FM s-d coupling u…

With increasing temperature, some oxide compounds that are transparent in the near infrared range become progressively opaque when approaching the liquid phase. Such a behavior is unusual and deeply impacts their thermal radiative properties. To understand this phenomenon, infrared emittance spectra were acquired from…

High-energy Coulomb correction to the screening angular parameter of the Moliere multiple scattering theory is found. Numerical calculations are presented in the range of nuclear charge from Z=4 to Z=82. The accuracy of the Moliere theory in determining the Coulomb correction to the screening angle is estimated.

We demonstrate that an {\it ac} Josephson current is pumped through the Single Molecular Magnets (SMM) by the spin nutation. The spin nutation is generated by applying a time dependent magnetic field to the SMM. We obtain the flowing charge current through the junction by working in the tunneling limit and employing G…
