Nuclear magnetic resonance in pulsed high‐field magnets

Jürgen Haase、D. Eckert、H. Siegel 等 6 位作者2003-01-01Concepts in Magnetic Resonance Part B

Abstract NMR has benefited tremendously from superconducting magnet technology providing stable, ever increasing magnetic fields over the last few decades. However, since superconductors expel magnetic field and with no suitable material in sight this trend has come to a halt at ∼20 T, and resistive magnet designs are…

Doris Grumelli、Alejandro Wolosiuk、Erica Forzani 等 6 位作者2003-01-01Chemical Communications

Probe beam deflection during chronoamperometric oxidation-reduction of osmium complex in layer-by-layer self-assembled redox active polyelectrolyte multilayers has shown that the nature of the charge in the topmost layer determines the ion flux that balances the redox charge.

Anisotropic flux density dependence of magnetic barkhausen noise in oriented 3% Si-Fe steel laminates

Thomas W. Krause、Jerzy A. Szpunar、D.L. Atherton2003-01-01IEEE Transactions on Magnetics

This paper compares the anisotropy of surface magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) and pulse height distributions between two samples of oriented 3% Si-Fe steel laminate at equivalent flux densities. One sample had lower core loss (0.83 W/kg) than the other (0.97 W/kg). The MBN/sub Energy/ (square of the MBN voltage signal…

Magneto-impedance effect of a layered CoNbZr amorphous film formed on a polyimide substrate

Y. Nishibe、H. Yamadera、Norikazu Ohta 等 5 位作者2003-01-01IEEE Transactions on Magnetics

To produce magnetic field sensors for use on irregular surfaces, thin-film-type elements that can detect a magnetic field by the magneto-impedance (MI) effect were formed on 20-/spl mu/m-thick polyimide substrates by sputtering. The thin-film MI element has a layered configuration with the conductive Cu film surrounde…

Silicone antifoam performance enhancement by nonionic surfactants in potato medium

Steven P. Christiano、Kenneth C. Fey2003-01-01Journal of Industrial Microbiology & Biotechnology

The ability of a silicone antifoam to retard foaming in a liquor prepared from potatoes is enhanced by the addition of ethoxylated nonionic surfactants. The enhancement is non-linear for surfactant concentration, with all 12 surfactants tested possessing a concentration at which foam heights strongly diminish, referre…

Transfer of Pro-RHydrogen from NADH to Dihydroxyacetonephosphate bysn-Glycerol-1-phosphate Dehydrogenase from the ArchaeonMethanothermobacter thermautotrophicus

Yosuke Koga、Nobuhito Sone、Shunsuke Noguchi 等 4 位作者2003-01-01Bioscience Biotechnology and Biochemistry

sn-Glycerol-1-phosphate dehydrogenase is responsible for the formation of the sn-glycerol-1-phosphate backbone of archaeal lipids. [4-3H]NADH that had 3H at the R side was produced from [4-3H]NAD and glucose with glucose dehydrogenase (a pro-S type enzyme). The 3H of this [4-3H]NADH was transferred to dihydroxyacetone…
