Surface Molecular Aggregation Structure and Surface Properties of Poly (fluoroalkyl acrylate) Thin Films

種々の鎖長の Rf 基を有するフルオロアルキルアクリレートポリマー[以下 PFA-Cy(y は Rf 基炭素数)と略]を合成し,表面分子鎖凝集構造と表面物性の鎖長依存性を静的,動的接触角,X 線光電子分光(XPS),示差走査熱量分析,視射角入射 X 線回折(GIXD)測定などにより評価し,その撥水性発現機構を明らかにした.動的接触角測定において,後退接触角は炭素数 6 までは非常に低く,炭素数 8 以上で急激に増加した.GIXD 測定から炭素数 8 以上で Rf 基が秩序構造を形成すること,後退接触角は表面の環境応答性の指針となることから,以下の PFA-Cy 撥水性発現機構が提案される.すなわち,Rf 基の炭素数 8 以上では側…
