非接触で電気化学的な電位分布を測定可能な表面電位測定により,塗装鋼板の劣化評価を行った。塗膜下腐食を模擬したモデル試料の表面電位測定を行った結果,実際の劣化とほぼ同じ面積の劣化部が検出され,塗膜下においても劣化を検出できることがわかった。塗装鋼板を劣化させるため,0.5M NaCl水溶液の液滴下で乾湿繰り返し腐食試験が行われた。乾湿繰り返し腐食試験により劣化させた塗装鋼板の表面電位分布は3サイクル後,変化した。塗膜の劣化部は乾湿繰り返しサイクル数とともに大きくなり,10サイクル後,腐食試験で用いた液滴のサイズとほぼ同じ大きさになった。表面電位測定は塗装鋼板の劣化を非破壊で評価する手法として,有用であることがわかった。
