New plenary and lacunary polyoxotungstate structures assembled from nonatungstoarsenate(III) anions and uranyl cations

Kee-Chan Kim、Michael T. Pope2001-01-01Journal of the Chemical Society Dalton Transactions

A new structural family of heteropolytungstate complexes containing trans-dioxo uranium(VI) (uranyl) groups has been isolated in good yield by reaction of UO22+ with [NaAs4W40O140]27− (W40) in aqueous solution. The “lacunary” anion, [(UO2)3(H2O)5As3W29O104]19−1 is formed by the reaction of W40 with UO2(MeCO2)2 at pH 7…

Synthesis and excited-state photodynamics of perylene–porphyrin dyads Part 3. Effects of perylene, linker, and connectivity on ultrafast energy transfer

Sung Ik Yang、Robin K. Lammi、Sreedharan Prathapan 等 9 位作者2001-01-01Journal of Materials Chemistry

New perylene–porphyrin dyads have been designed that exhibit superior light-harvesting and energy-utilization activity compared with earlier generations of structurally related dyads. The new dyads consist of a perylene mono(imide) dye (PMI) connected to a porphyrin (Por) via an ethynylphenyl (ep) linker. The PMI–ep–P…

In situ micro-Raman investigation of dehydration mechanism in natural gypsum

Pinnelli S. R. Prasad、Ajit Pradhan、T.N. Gowd2001-01-01OpenAlex

The stability of bassanite and the mechanism of dehydration of natural gypsum were investigated by in situ micro-Raman spectroscopy in the temperature range 300–380 K and 300–450 K. From the thermal evolution of the sulphate (940–1200 cm) and water (3250– 3750 cm) molecular stretching (ν1 and ν3) modes, it was evident…

Electrodeposition of ZnO on ITO Electrode by Potential Modulation Method

Jaeyoung Lee、Yongsug Tak2001-01-01Electrochemical and Solid-State Letters

We report the effect of the concentration of hydroxide ion adsorbed on indium tin oxide (ITO) in the electrodeposition of zinc oxide (ZnO) by potential modulation method. We found that by applying an optimal constant potential of −0.72 V, X-ray diffraction (XRD) peak intensity of crystalline phase indicating ZnO (100)…
