亜鉛めっき鋼板では,切断端面の亜鉛が早期に消失する端面腐食と呼ばれる問題がある.端面腐食は,薄い液膜が付着した環境下でのガルバニック腐食であると考えられ,このメカニズムを解明するための数値解析モデルを開発した.薄液膜下の腐食速度は,大気からの酸素供給量により律速されるため,液膜中の酸素濃度を考慮する必要がある.また,従来の数値解析モデルでは,電位と電流密度分布の情報しか得られない.腐食メカニズム解明のためには,イオン濃度,pH分布や腐食生成物分布を知ることが重要であり,これらを考慮したモデルを開発した.本モデルによる計算方法と計算結果例について詳しく報告する.
