Magnetization measurements on RBaCo2−xRuxO5+δ, R = Gd, Nd with x = 0, 0.05 and 0.1 samples have been carried out. In both the series of samples, Ru substitution increases cell parameters and suppresses ferromagnetism (FM) with associated decrease in paramagnetic to FM transition temperatures (TC) to lower values.
