Development of Organic/Inorganic Nano-composite Enameled Wire

Hideyuki Kikuchi、Kenji Asano2006-01-01IEEJ Transactions on Power and Energy

We have succeeded in development of two type nano-composite enameled wires in 2000. One is the inverter surge resistant enameled wire using polyester-imide/silica nano-composite material prepared by original sol solution mixture method, and the other is the super heat resistant enameled wire using polyimide/silica nan…

The Potential of Nanocomposite Barrier Technology

Taichi Sakaya、Nobuhiro Osaki2006-01-01Journal of Photopolymer Science and Technology

It is needed for flexible transparent substrate to have not only the flexibility but also the ability of the material barrier as same as glass material. We paid attention to the nanocomposite barrier technology as a technique for making both its flexibility and the barrier property that are opposed to each other. This…

Magnetostructural correlations in the cyano-bridged CrNi, Cr2Ni and CrNi6 complexes: density functional theory calculations

Yi‐Quan Zhang、Chenglin Luo2006-01-01Journal of Materials Chemistry

A theoretical density functional study of the magneto-structural correlations in a series of the cyano-bridged CrnNim systems is presented. Two approaches with several LDA and GGA functionals gave the result that the ferromagnetic coupling interactions between the nearest-neighbors CrNi weaken with the increase of the…

Continuous Catalytic Dehydrogenation of Decalin under Mild Conditions

Atsushi Shono、T. Hashimoto、Shinya Hodoshima 等 5 位作者2006-01-01JOURNAL OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OF JAPAN

In order to apply the organic liquid hydrides as hydrogen storage and mobile media, continuous hydrogen production from decalin under mild temperature conditions (210–280°C) was attempted by the use of carbon-supported platinum fine particles as a catalyst. Efficient hydrogen evolution from decalin was achieved under…

Complex transient patterns on the disk

Jonathan P. Desi、Evelyn Sander、Thomas Wanner2006-01-01Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems

This paper studies spinodal decomposition in the Cahn-Hilliard model on the unit disk. It has previously been shown that starting at initial conditions near a homogeneous equilibrium on a rectangular domain, solutions to the linearized and the nonlinear Cahn-Hilliard equation behave indistinguishably up to large dista…

Columnar liquid crystals derived from ester‐substituted tetraphenylenes

Eugen Wuckert、Sabine Laschat、Angelika Baro 等 6 位作者2006-01-01Liquid Crystals

We report the synthesis and liquid crystalline properties of novel ester‐substituted tetraphenylenes obtained from octamethoxytetraphenylene by demethylation and esterification. The target compounds display focal‐conic textures typical for columnar mesophases, which are either rectangular or hexagonal columnar in natu…

Influence of Cr(CO)6 and Mo(CO)6 on the critical conditions for ignition and the velocities of flame propagation for the chain-branching oxidation of hydrogen and propylene

It has been found that small additions (∼0.1 vol%) of chromium hexacarbonyl and molybdenum hexacarbonyl promote the combustion of a stoichiometric mixture of H2 + O2, resulting in a lowering of the lower limit of initiated ignition and an increase of the visible velocity of flame propagation; as this takes place, inhi…
