帝塚山高等学校女子特進コースと奈良教育大学で高大連携事業の一環として、「化学実験」体験講座を実施した。この講座では、理系の大学生活において重要な研究室の状況を知る機会を提供するとともに、基本的な実験操作の確認から大型分析装置(電子スピン共鳴分光;(ESR)法)を用いた実験などを行った。この「化学実験」体験講座に参加した生徒のなかには、自分たちで実験のテーマを設定し、ESRを用いた研究を行う者もいた。また、高校生たちが専門の研究会で発表する機会を得て、実験結果をまとめポスター発表を行った。発表内容は、食品の中に含まれる常磁性遷移金属に関する研究と日焼け止めクリームの紫外線防止効果に関するものである。これら一連の「化学実験」体験講座の…
