Electrochemical growth of three-dimensionally ordered macroporous metals as photonic crystals

Rong Zhu2010-01-01OpenAlex

Over the last two decades three dimensionally ordered macroporous (3-DOM) materials have turned out to be very promising in many applications ranging from optics, plasmonics, to catalyst scaffolds. The thesis presents a systematic study on formation and characterisation of 3-DOM metals as photonic crystals. Metals are…

Heat treatment effects on the superconducting properties of Ag-doped SrKFeAs compounds

马衍伟2010-01-01OpenAlex

The superconducting properties of polycrystalline Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 were strongly influenced by Ag doping (Supercond. Sci. Technol. 23 (2010) 025027). Ag addition is mainly dominated by silver diffusing, so the annealing process is one of the essential factors to achieve high quality Ag doped Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2. In this pa…

Tantalum clustering in the A1 to L1o iron-platinum-tantalum chemical ordering phase transformation

Diondra Means2010-01-01W. S. Hoole Special Collections Library Manuscript Collections

A series of Fe₅₂Pt₄₈, Fe₅₂․₃Pt₄₆․₃Ta₁․₄ and Fe₅₂Pt₄₀․₇Ta₇․₃ thin films were sputter- deposited and subsequently annealed at 550°C and 750°C for 30 min. The as-deposited films adopted the A1 phase. The addition of Ta resulted in the change in the {111} to {200} fiber texture for these films. This has been explained in…

Simultaneously improved magnetization and polarization in BiFeO3 based multiferroic composites

马衍伟2010-01-01OpenAlex

The multiferroic composites with nominal stoichiometry Bi0.8Dy0.2Fe1-yTiyO3+delta were fabricated by adding Ti to Bi0.8Dy0.2FeO3 through a two-stage solid-state reaction method. In the composites obtained, the major phase was isostructural to Bi0.8Dy0.2FeO3, and the secondary phase of Dy3Fe5O12 was also detected. Most…

Enhancement of acoustic heating during nucleation of acoustic cavitation inside an ultrasonic reactor cavity

Marc Hauptmann、Steven Brems、Elisabeth Camerotto 等 10 位作者2010-01-01OpenAlex

In semiconductor manufacturing, megasonic cleaning may play an important role for nano-particle removal, if the underlying physical processes are thoroughly understood. As shown in recent years, acoustic cavitation is the main contributor to surface cleaning. Crucial parts of the overall cleaning process are therefore…

Yue Huang2010-01-01Rice Research Repository (Rice University)

The Full Zone model of the thermocapillary (Marangoni) flow in a liquid bridge with an axial magnetic field, measured by the Hartmann number Ha, is studied using a Chebyshev spectral method for low Prandtl number fluids. By introducing a 2nd order vorticity transport formulation, high resolution Gauss-Lobatto grids ca…

The use of copper alloys is known from ancient times and they were appreciated for several reasons: they are easy to cast, have a wide range of mechanical properties and appearance, and good resistance to corrosion. Most of these properties are affected by composition, and the desired properties could be obtained by t…

저합금강의 부식속도에 미치는 시편 면적의 영향

김민준、장영욱、유윤하 等 5 位作者2010-01-01Journal of the Korean Chemical Society

The change from tetragonal to orthorhombic phase due to annealing also changes the electrical and optical properties of tin oxide thin films. X-ray diffraction and Atomic force microscopy studies reveal the changes in the phase and grain merger with annealing of as-grown tin oxide thin films. Optical bandgap increase…

Use of the 1,1'-Ferrocenedicarboxylate As Ligand in Cluster Chemistry and New Improvement Approach of the Bond Valence Sum Parameters through Statistical Methods

Antonio Masello2010-01-01University of Florida Digital Collections (University of Florida)

This work focused on the synthesis and study of new transition metal clusters capable of multielectron exchange. Reactions of the ligand precursor 1,1'-ferrocenedicarboxylic acid (fdcH2) in the presence of preformed clusters, such as [Mn12O12(O2CMe)16(H2O)4], led to the isolation of two [Mn13O6(OR)6(fdc)6] clusters, w…

Anisotropic metamaterial blueprints for cladding control of waveguide modes

Fernando L. Teixeira、Hayrettin Odabasi、Karl F. Warnick2010-01-01Journal of the Optical Society of America A

We explore the duality between metric and material properties in the Maxwell’s equations to design metamaterial blueprints for cladding control of waveguide modes. We illustrate designs for circular and rectangular waveguides. In contrast to standard material loading of waveguides, the proposed cladding does not produ…

制备条件对Ru/ZrO2·xH2O催化酯加氢制备醇活性的影响

樊光银2010-01-01Acta Scientiarum Naturalium Universitatis Sunyatseni
