Spin fluctuation processes in the problem of s-wave superconducting phase of the heavy-fermion intermetallides

V. V. Val’kov、D. M. Dzebisashvili2010-01-01Journal of Physics Conference Series

In the framework of the periodic Anderson model in the limit of strong electron correlations a theory of s -wave superconductivity (this phase has been recently discovered in the skutterudite LaFe 4 P 12 ) has been developed. The theory is based on kinematic mechanism, provided that the spin fluctuation processes (SFP…

The Influence of Switch Temperature on Coke Drum Fatigue Life

Fa ́bio de Castro Marangone、Ediberto B. Tinoco、Carlos Eduardo Simo ̃es Gomes2010-01-01OpenAlex

Coke drums are thin-walled pressure vessels that experience severe thermal cycling condition which consists of heating, filling and rapidly cooling the drum in a short period of time. After some years under operation, cracks at the vessel may occur, especially at high stress concentration areas such as the skirt suppo…

Quantitative Evaluation of Hydrogen Micro-Damage in 316L Austenitic Stainless Steel

J. Toribio、Francisco-Javier Ayaso2010-01-01OpenAlex

In this paper an evaluation is made, by means of quantitative fractography and image analysis techniques, of the hydrogen-assisted micro-damage in axisymmetric notched samples of 316L austenitic stainless steel subjected to hydrogen embrittlement tests. Such a micro-damage created by hydrogen is concentrated in a exte…

Ultrafast THz Response of Few-Layer Epitaxial Graphene

Hyunyong Choi、Ferenc Borondics、Donald S. Siegel 等 7 位作者2010-01-01International Conference on Ultrafast Phenomena

Ultrafast measurements of few-layer epitaxial graphene are reported along with its equilibrium optical conductivity. We observe transient THz electrodynamics consistent with photoexcited holes in a dense Dirac electron plasma, which recombine on a picosecond timescale.

The optimum dose can be produced by measuring and analysis of the dose distribution from the source. The energy of the source must be maximum for the target cell, and must minimum for the tissues that surround the target cell. In this study, the phantom model has a cylindrical shape with 20 cm radius and 19 cm depth.…
